Isn't the roof under tension and the technical ring holds each "rib" in place? You can't just go in with a wrecking ball over a weekend and knock it out of there. I have to think it will be a slow, labor intensive process to brace the ribs so that the ring can be removed and replaced in pieces before moving the bracing to the next section. Or even worse, having to brace the entire roof together so the ring can be totally removed and replaced in one phase. I'm not a fan of the ring of glass around the fringe of the roof myself, I'd rather the entire roof was done like that.
(I also wasn't aware that Taylor was retiring from music after this year and never touring again. Guess my daughter will be glad to have seen her a couple times in Detroit and Toronto lol)
