They are already talking about improving the sound quality inside the stadium. Last year they beat the daily assistance record with 88,884. There are also more than 2,000 people working in the tower.

The bottom line, is the Olympic Stadium is perhaps the biggest white elephant in Canadian sports stadium history. Sure, it looks neat, but that does little to offset the $2.7 billion price tag. People from Montreal are overstating it's importance. It may be a tourist attraction, but is it any more of a tourist attraction, than BC Place stadium is in Vancouver, which was built for a fraction of the cost?

Personally I would think the Toronto SkyDome was more iconic to Toronto than the big O is to Montreal, and despite having cost overruns, cost far less, and has served exponentially more events (concerts, expositions, CFL, MLB, etc), than the Olympic Stadium.
