started snowing in east van around 1 pm, I used transit again, no real problems, it was very quiet on the skytrain back home, barely any people on board from VCC Clark to Lougheed, most stations had no people, and roads looked quiet too, I think many people took the day off again. Sidewalks are not much better today and today they have added slushy bits and some puddles. Very few people here wear appropriate footwear, most are out and about in sneakers with ankle socks or no socks and stepping into a pile of snow and slush must be refreshing.

Forecast calls for sleet on friday. Currently 0c and snowing.
