I feel like Prescott's fate was sealed when they built Pioneer Parkway (a street name I really hate, it sounds like something a 4th grade teacher came up with) but the area really doesn't have the cachet for most younger people which should control growth for a while.

I just hope Courthouse Square survives as one of the best downtowns in the state while the icky sprawl in Prescott Valley creates a secondary node.
