Plus you lose merits and your license and insurance go up. Most of the time I drive with my cruise set to the speed limit. Driving a 4x4 half ton that extra speed results in a very noticeable fuel economy difference. If traffic is heavy I'll usually go with the slow lane speed which is often at least 10 kph over the limit or more on #1 east. Passing lane drivers are typically doing 120+.
A friend who's a city cop will always set his cruise at 10 over and no more. He's knows how the RCMP play.
