I guess this was a rail yard at some point.

Those 6 storey apartment buildings are brand new with large surface parking lots supplementing the single level of underground parking. Unfortunately, you see this alot with 5 to 6 storey apartment blocks throughout Canada. Fewer units eliminating the need for additional surface parking with higher coverage like townhouses or 3 storey apartment blocks with landscaping would have looked better.
