Speed limit on 29 through grand forks stays at 75, Fargo is 55. Fargo feels like an actual urban freeway for much of the interstate length through it. Traffic usually moves at about 65 through fargo, even when it’s busy. Traffic through grand forks is a lot quicker. People tend to do about 80, though I find it a little sketchy sometimes because there are people who go a lot slower and the highway is only two lanes in either direction there.
But yeah, I would agree that there are no issues with traffic through either place.
