I'm not sure there's a solution to this, other than to suck it up and either post more updates for other cities or for readers to ignore/gloss-over the Toronto summaries. E.g., if there's a not-Toronto thread, will there be posts that say things like "this one in Ottawa/Edmonton/where-ever is so much like THIS building in Toronto"? And then Toronto pics ensue.
We have two skyline threads and the one to "post some pictures of your city" but I find they tend to bleed into each other. And the local sub-forums factor in as well.
And as we often see, thread intentions and content change as conversations evolve. There's nothing wrong with that, but without much moderator vigilance and intervention, I think separate proposal threads are doomed to fail. One of the great things about this forum, to me, is the light-touch the moderators tend to have and I'd not want to see that change.
