And that Aylmer neighborhood has to be in la Plateau, I think you’re confusing it with something else. It’s probably in Hull actually but close to the boundary (or in the easternmost parts of Aylmer… now that I think about it the latter is more likely).

Could be but a lot of the newer areas south of Ch. d'Aylmer (e.g. the old racetrack land) look like that too.
