The initial concept seemed to categorize it as office space, but with the current market (and who knows how long it will remain this way) a lot of developers are converting the office components of their development proposals into hotel instead and the same could happen to this as well if the office market remains dire with high vacancy rates whenever this phase gets off the ground.

There doesn't seem to be a clear pattern on replacing office for hotel. It's less than a year that
Keltic said they were thinking of changing Bosa's proposed project at 4444 Kingsway "to replace the hotel with more office and other commercial space, including a small grocery outlet and upscale restaurants."
