the affirmation tower was very bold, i dk that it could or would have been built, but now it wont be for sure.
the hope here is height doesnt seem to be an issue, so hopefully we dont get something too bland. i guess we will know at the end of next month when rfp’s are due, unless we get some early leaked renders for bids.
also, there will be some building around and over the vent that will be interesting to see how its handled. looking forward to seeing that.

I don’t know if the Affirmation Tower design will translate to residential/hotel. The language for the affordable component goes further than most affordable requirements. But Peebles was among the attendees, and will likely submit another bid. Those bids are due in a matter of weeks, so we should hear something next month or soon after.
