1694 Upper James Street | ? | 2x12 fl | Proposed
Oirignally shared by Branden Simon at UT:
"1694 Upper James - A proposed of 12-Storey rental buildings with 325 units and a commercial space on the ground floor and 3-Storey townhouse has been proposed designed by KNYMH for Royal Living Development Group. Location in Kennedy neighbourhood of Hamilton Mountain." https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/attach...5-jpeg.680409/ https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/attach...4-jpeg.680410/ https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/attach...6-jpeg.680411/ https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/attach...7-jpeg.680412/ https://urbantoronto.ca/forum/attach...3-jpeg.680415/ |
Seems like a good use of the space. Too bad the old house/church building won't stay, but it's smack in the middle of the property.
|
A great addition. It seems that Upper James will undergo a significant transformation over the next couple of years. If the full BRT A-Line is implemented, these units will become even more prevalent.
|
If we get more of these in the area, imagine we get a lot of quality restaurants like in north yorks yonge and finch area
|
This lies just outside of the 3000m approach surface for runway 06/24.
Future noise complainers none-the-less. |

Why CN was putting up a stink about the redevelopment of James North, but I think their legs to stand on are skinnier. |
