Nice.
Just in the last week, two more 500 ft.+ towers for Journal Square. That neighborhood just never stops. |
The rezoning for this site passed the JC Planning Board on Tuesday. Site plan and more details could come in a few months.

I love how Jersey City writes the redevelopment plans. A subtle change can result in a big building! I’m going to predict 60 floors, in a two-tower development or at least something that takes up the full lot.
I also predict it will have public parking, affordable housing, and provide some funds for offsite improvements near Journal Square and the Lowe’s theater. At least, all this should be possible based on my read of the JSQ 2060 plan. |
Looks like this will have close to 1500 units and will be two towers at 51 floors. Via recent filing.

This is like the 5th 50 story building proposed this week. Originally it was just one tower. Glad to see it’s now two!

Great news! Journal Square is gonna be incredible.

The city likes the tax revenue. Pretty much basking from the deficiencies in NYC with the housing (not that its not building but easier to build in Jersey City... hint hint NY hint hint).
I would like to see Bayonne get into the action more, as its pretty much an extension of Jersey City South. And Newark... Newark needs to ramp up to JC levels. Its asinine that it hasn't. Whoever the new mayor is... they better continue the success of Fulop. This is no time for NIMBY shenanigans. |

Almost 3000 units in four towers at 50/51 floors between 3000 Kennedy and 418 Hoboken Avenue.
Journal Square area is booming! https://www.google.com/maps/vt/data=...GGtgb8jrAh_t4w |
