She's a great 'little' town and often overlooked; this is most certainly one of the better threads showing her off.
This one night at the Senator...er Winston's.... Cheers! |
Not bad for a little prairie town. I've been there, and I do like the tree lined streets with the prairie style wooden houses, as well as the river & bridges. Nice photos.

Many thanks for the tour! And all that within a few kilometers...nice! (Saskatoon shines, indeed!)
|
Nice tour! Looks great!

Very nice!

I've always thought a walking or bus or trolley tour of all the wall murals and graffitti art that exists in this city would be very interesting, as there is a lot!! Maybe tourism Saskatoon should look at pulling something like that together and include a few craft beer pub stops along the way! Some great pics and perspectives.

Really enjoyed that , thank you
Saskatoon looks great |
I really had no concept of this city before this thread. Wonderful! Seems to have a much more interesting downtown than Regina due to the proximity of the river.
|
The Remai Modern is certainly on my bucket list to visit!
|
Great photo tour. The leafy residential streets are really charming.
|
Great collection of photos! Thanks for the tour
|
I love ToonTown!

A very different city, names different, scenery different, vibes different
Literally SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN always looks like a Thai place. by different I mean unique. |
Fantastic photo thread Echoes! Thank you for posting! That pic of the English bulldog riding in the remote control Westfalia is one of the best things I’ve seen lately.
|
Amazing photo essay. The Toon has a great mix of old and new. It looks way more vibrant at street level than its sister city, Regina.
|
Great pics. Thanks!
|
Thanks everyone for the kind words!
|
Nice pictures! Saskatoon has some great building stock!
What are those two new glass buildings along the river? |
Thank you!
That’s River Landing. The blue glass towers are offices, and the black one is a hotel/condo. |
