The irony comes from what the owners of 447 Battery themselves have plans to do: https://socketsite.com/wp-content/up...ering-2020.jpg https://socketsite.com/archives/2021...ronically.html |
This should be exhibit A of CEQA being used as a weapon instead of for any actual environmental reason.
Looks like SF is healing. |

Not bad but given such a prime location it really should be 20-30 stories taller. Maybe they didn’t want to cover up views of the Transamerica Pyramid from the East.

I think I would prefer something appearing more random than something "engineered" to look a particular way, but we've got the latter. |
I'm guessing the residential variant is the preferred option.

It's alright, I hope it actually gets built
|
Love it. Sad to see it's prob still a few years out.
|
That's great. Terra cotta facade? There hasn't been much built on that side of the skyline in like forever. I'm sure it'll take 3-5 years to get through the gauntlet, but it's lovely.
|
plinko, I'm with you. Looks like green masonry or terra cotta. Either way, sign me up!
|
according to the planning documents, the horizontal is metal and the vertical is "metal plaster"
|
Love this building, and it acts as an extension of the main Embarcadero Center while being 2 feet taller than EC4. Sadly I doubt that will get built there.
