Nice, kinda looks like the condo on Dundurn and Aberdeen, which I like to call the Borg cube.

anactualalien Aug 18, 2017 9:57 PM

This isn't knocking any of those older rowhouses down, hopefully?

SteelTown Aug 18, 2017 10:09 PM

^ No, I'm pretty sure it's currently a municipal parking lot.

davidcappi Aug 18, 2017 11:09 PM

It is replacing the rowhomes.

Crapht Aug 18, 2017 11:16 PM

In the future, Cannon is two way!

Replacing these. Hearing that they will be high end, have high ceilings and elevators for cars' underground parking.

Better though, because the ground floor is not indoor parking.

Chronamut Aug 22, 2017 4:38 PM

normally I'd be outraged that rowhouses were being torn down.. but in all honesty these 2 rowhouses are part of the most dilapidated stretch of the downtown core and I would love nothing more than to see them obliterated off the map - that and the building on the corner of james and canon as well.. (the boarded up one)

this development would begin to make canon something more than the dilapidated rot street it currently is symbolized as.. that and barton st..

It's kind of annoying to have to scroll through the photos twice. I'd appreciate it if you didn't, personally.

It doesn’t bother me. Keep up with the active posting Chronamut, don’t worry about mattgrande.
