Recent ottawa construction aerials

I thought some people would be interested in photos I've taken in the Ottawa area.

I do this professionally. A couple of these images were done for clients, but most were on spec on my own dime, so please respect my copyright. Feel free to use them for personal use, but any commercial use is a no-no without contacting me. ;)

I also regularly post interesting photos on my facebook page, so you can take a look there too:

Anyway, on with the show!

This isn't a construction photo, but is one of my favourite that I've done of downtown ottawa.

Taken a few years ago just after sunset.

As I said, these are all photos I took as part of my business. Not advertising anything here, just thought people would be interested, but please respect the copyright and only use them for personal purposes.

If there's any local buildings or projects that people are interested in seeing, just let me know and I'll see if I've got them in my archives. Alternately, I may just snap something the next time I'm flying by!

If you've got any questions about the photos or what I do, feel free to ask. :)

Excellent photography....wow.....have you thought about approaching homebuilders for photos for their promo material...or commercial developers for a photo of the trade area from the air. The City of Ottawa may be a good option as well...although be prepared for a long wait as the gears of bureaucracy turn pretty slowly.

Your facebook link actually is one of the only times I've ever considered signing up for an account....

I'll take that as a compliment... LOL No need to sign up for a facebook account to view the updates there though!

The residential market is there, but the overhead in dealing with so many potential clients for one-off sales isn't my thing. I tend to focus my efforts more on the commercial side of things. Deeper pockets, repeat business, etc.

I'm actually currently doing regular Lansdowne photos for the city and construction firm, and have submitted photos of other projects for consideration. Fingers crossed!

gmarshall, these photos are absolutely incredible!!

I'm sure you hear this all the time, but seriously, cheers to you my friend.

Keep the Lansdowne Park pictures coming especially; I feel like the city does a pretty meh job about releasing media on the construction and your pictures are like nothing I have seen yet.

When the thing is finished I will pay you fair price for a nice HQ shot of the entire complex that I could frame.

Excellent photos! Wish I knew how to fly a plane.

Very nice photos gmarshall, thank you! And I hope you don't mind, but I've just cross-posted them to their appropriate threads where they will get a larger audience.

You're going to give southfacing a run for his money...

That is a fantastic night shot of Ottawa. I think it does a particularly great job of showing the relationship between the city and the Gatineau Hills.
