How To Be A Vancouverite

Sorry, but I couldn't find a fitting thread for this hilarious (and yet accurate) video. :D

Ha! Most of it was pretty accurate. Great ending!

They forgot eat sushi for breakfast lunch and dinner, more than the Japanese.
Great video.

Nothing about sushi. Fail.

Many things were left out (like nothing about Surrey bashing!), but yeah, it's pretty hilarious clip. I feel like a local already, getting most of the jokes. :haha:

Needs some Toronto hate.

Aww come on, everyone loves Toronto!

Klazu, you're new to Vancouver? You've got a good eye for it, I always figured you were a local.

I like Toronto as well, but have noted the rivalry between the two. It's funny as long as you don't take it too seriously.

Oh no, I have been here only since January 2012. :) I guess I am an adaptive person and actively learning about my new home. That's what I call Vancouver after having received my Permanent Residence last month.

This rivalry thing between Vancouver and Toronto is a bit over the top. It's like Seattle trying to outperform New York. (or New York beating up on Seattle). Irrelevant.

C'mon, people, anyway!!! Toronto isn't perfect; no place is. But it's Canada's principal city and we should embrace it, not spit at it.

Toronto mostly has a very good opinion of Vancouver - seems to have deteriorated a bit with the riot and the Canucks, but overall, it's a top place that people in Ontario/Toronto want to visit and potentially live in.

I lived in Toronto for a couple of years and when Vancouver came up in conversation - an exceedingly rare occurrence - it was usually positive or a good-natured joke that could have come straight out of the video.
