Cirrus in San Francisco 1 of 3 - Downtown

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3

I was in San Francisco last month for a few days. Hooray! It was my first time there, and I very much enjoyed it.

Anyway, this is part one of three in my photo series from the city.

In time-honored SSP tradition, here is a picture of my lunch from one day. Japanese/American fusion from a cafe in the Ferry Building.

Another day for lunch I met forumers J Church and SF eddo for Ramen, but alas, did not photograph the meal (I fail).

On to the city!

Speaking of the Ferry Building...

Civic Center:

This seagull is clearly contemplating the beauty of strength that will endure.

Look at Cirrus going out west...and I ain't talkin' Pueblo.

Aw, Pueblo. The San Francisco of Colorado's Arkansas River Valley.

Or maybe that's La Junta. I always forget.

It appears that you're a fan of older buildings. I'm the same way. Lots of great shots. I especially like the close-ups of building details.

Great pictures! Over the years I have spent weeks at a time in San Francisco for work and always stay at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. With Sears being right across the street its become one of my favorite places to eat breakfast... May be too pedestrian for locals but I like it:
