Not really my kinda music, but they needed a dancer, so I volunteered my services. That's me in the yellow shirt. Uh...joking |
Here's a drone video I did looking over Han Basin. If gives you a good idea of central Seoul from the air.

Love Montreal, the people, the atmosphere, the sites and sounds. Born there (Quartier de St-Michel). Half my life there and said goodbye 28 years ago. It will aways be part of me. |
A cool documentary about Hamilton's urban fabric and the future of the city.
Toronto has always cast a long shadow on the city of Hamilton, Ontario, for a number of reasons: it's bigger, it's more economically successful, and people want to live there. But times are changing. Young people seeking opportunities are priced out of T.O., and Hamilton is proving to be the place that can provide them with both affordable housing as well as opportunity. Hamiltonians want us to know that great things come in mid-sized packages, too. |
I scanned through the video. Some entertaining little bits in there. I've not taken enough advantage of what Hamilton has to offer despite not being too far from it.
Do you ever see the image transforming from a gritty city to a more refined image, like Pittsburgh? Though TBF, Pittsburgh wasn't in the shadow of a metropolis next door. Though with the influx of people from TO and the western burbs I suppose that could change things, but very gradually. When I was in my early 20s, and driving through Hamilton on the very odd occasion, I did find the long one way streets to be amusing, with the timed lights and all, but like the video mentions, those wide, one way streets didn't make for a pedestrian friendly atmosphere. Having driven those street a couple more times in the past 1.5 years, I find I dislike them now. If it's something that helps in rush hour and I was someone doing that drive everyday, maybe I'd appreciate it. |
There's a new Halifax based walking channel called Bevie YHZ that also just released a night ferry crossing video. I really like the lighting, particularly of the bridge.

This is fun to watch, especially with the accompaniment by Strauss.
