Should Toronto get a WNBA team?
 

Considering most cities have an NBA and WNBA team, I am wondering if Toronto could support a WNBA team? It would inspire a lot more young women not only in Toronto to play the game of basketball but it would inspire more young women to play the game of basketball here in Canada, am I right or am I wrong y'all?

Why would Toronto want a team in a league that few people care about? I doubt the Raptors would want to keep funneling money in to keep it viable

My thoughts exactly and his rationale for Toronto getting a WNBA team is very fucking strange because of all the reasons for a city to get a professional sports franchise, encouraging young people to play that sport in that city has got to be one of the last, if not THE last reason to get one. Sports franchises exist mainly because there's a market for that sport in that city and it has virtually nothing to do with encouraging young people to play the sport
