It will be great to have that new entrance hall for Newark Penn. In conjunction with the station renovation, what an improvement.

I still don't understand what is being renovated as the station was overhauled less than 10yrs ago... They should take that underground parking area and turn it into an Amtrak lounge.

I hope one day Secaucus Junction can get HBLR and really function better as a true intermodal hub for North Jersey.

Dream a little bigger, like an extension of the (L).

The L and the PATH had proposals in the 30s - 60s for an extension to the area where Secaucus Junction is located at. The 60s proposal for the PATH seems to be a last ditch effort to save the dying commuter rail lines in North Jersey. Had the proposal gone through, several lines would have still been in use.

That telephoto lens really makes the main line look like a rollercoaster. My preference is it wouldn't look that bumpy.

I hope they build Elmhurst Station in the coming years. That will help relieve congestion along Queens Blvd. corridor.

Not sure if that's part of the current MTA capital plan.
