- rue Sainte Catherine (St Catherine street) : In the heart of Bordeaux is Rue Sainte-Catherine. This pedestrian only shopping street has 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi) of shops, restaurants and cafes; it is also the longest shopping street in Europe. Rue Sainte-Catherine starts at Place de la Victoire and ends at Place de la Comedie by the opera house. The shops become progressively more upmarket as one moves towards Place de la Comedie and the nearby Cours de l'Intendance is where one finds the more exclusive shops and boutiques. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2423/...832b165a_o.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3644/...feffc3d1_o.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3354/...9bccfb1f_o.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3597/...dd51292d_o.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3615/...c6714749_o.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3621/...6947988d_o.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3659/...c1848334_o.jpg - le pont d'Aquitaine : (Aquitaine's bridge) It is a large suspension bridge over the Garonne, north-west of the city of Bordeaux, in France. This place has got some dreamy element that I can't put my finger on. The scale is small, yet bustling. Modern city amenities, yet dilapidated. "Hip", yet small ego. I like what you're doing here. How is the "gutter-punk" population relative to other Euro cities...or do you just like grabbing a few shots of them to sprinkle in?
