Perhaps O'Carrolls will return in a different spot?

I hope so...

I have a single photo on my camera from several days ago that I forgot to post, to share with everyone how nicely this nearly complete development is fitting in.

Thank you for the photo RyeJay. It will be nice to see the blank wall of the TD building disappear in the near future.

I found a photo on the RBC Waterside facebook page by Stuart McCrea from August 30th, which shows the restored facade of the Harrington building - https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...03892696_n.jpg

Wow, this is really coming together! I love how the glass looks in the last picture - its grey-blue colour really complements the surrounding buildings and yet has a light, airy look.

Thank you for all the pictures Duff. It is good to see the windows in the restored facades.

I had high expectations for this project before construction began and I think this has turned out to be even better than I had hoped for. Congratulations to Armour Group for another iconic Halifax project.

Any updates on the RBC Waterside Centre? Been almost a month since the last update.

Today:

I had some reservations over this project ages ago but I think it's looking fantastic. Sorry I didn't get any other angles.

It's good to see some current pictures of the RBC Waterside building. I think it looks great.

It does look good! Size is right too.

The following picture was posted to the RBC Waterside facebook page by Lemoncello - https://twitter.com/Limoncellolife. It is good to see a recent picture of the facade restoration.

Nice Find.

Thank you for posting the found photo alps.

I found a couple interior shots taken by Stuart McCrea on the RBC Waterside facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/pages/RBC-W...08681372508949. The picture looks very much like one of the early renderings but it is an actual picture.

Caption by Stuart McCrea; that's all the original Iron stone from the Harrington building. Removed, cleaned and replaced. Great blend of old and new.

Absolutely first rate work! Beautiful!

Seems odd that the lobby is up 7-8 steps from street level. How does that meet accessible building codes?

scooby074 Dec 27, 2013 1:23 AM

Beautiful stonework. Nice to see it in a featured location.

There's a door to the side; presumably there is an elevator or a ramp up from there?
