Giants Side by Side: World Trade Center Twin Towers vs Petronas Towers

It's my first contribution to the forum, and I'm not sure if this section is the most appropriate... I hope it is. If not, you'll let me know. Greetings to all.

When we compare skyscrapers, we often focus on what is most striking to us: height. But it seems that we forget the reason why we once decided to build upwards: to gain the space we lacked. In this video, although we will also discuss heights, we will focus on the fundamental category: space. And we will do it with the greatest twin towers that have ever existed: the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center and the Petronas Twin Towers.

The video was clever.

I will hope that no one has to ever live in a "city" like what you describe.

In such a place, people would be elemental particles within a machine.

It might be tolerable if the buildings were arranged as a line across a great distance where there could be less congestion and more vistas to see,

but as a dense block of walled-in space it looks like a punishment no one should should be sentenced to endure.

Thank you. And no, I wouldn't want to live in such an extremely uniform place, no matter how efficient it is in using space. But I'm sure there are those who would like to 'enjoy' that dystopian horizon.

Thank you very much, MolsonExport, both for your comment and for the recommendation, which, as you can see, I have followed.
