Those old English buses lasted a long time. I bet they were terrible to ride on, although they were built like tanks and probably lasted 10 times longer than the new plastic/metal buses.

I've always found the yellow and blue colour scheme used on some Hong Kong buses to be very similar to the colour scheme used by Dublin Bus.

They even seem to use a similar bus model, although Dublin's buses only have a single rear axle whereas HK has a double rear axle.

Yes, most Hong Kong buses are imported from various European manufacturers. Local requirements stipulate triple axle so they are longer and have more wheels.
