On another note, yet another indication that TAP will more than likely launch LIS-YUL, once they get the proper planes (A321LR). http://business.financialpost.com/ne...back-to-canada Quote:

AC executive: May the unholy sacrifice begin! Today we offer the airport gods an sacrifice to ensure another successful harv....er.....travel year! Now it is Calgary's turn to face the wrath of the secret shadowy committee! Westjet executive: Hey, wait, that's our hub. AC executive #2: Silence! Perhaps if they'd not implemented call-to-gate and had more water dispensers, we'd settle for picking on YEG again, but now it is Calgary's turn to suffer! WJ executive #2, whilst pummeling NewLeaf executive, glances up and notices the ceremony has started while he wasn't paying attention: Sorry chaps, was a bit distracted for a moment there. ....and so forth. This is actually how Canadian airlines work. All that jazz about boardrooms and profits and whatnot is hooey. |
China Southern will be starting Guangzhou-Vancouver-Mexico City flights 3x weekly starting April 10th on 787. At this time there are no fifth freedom rights between YVR-MEX, but it means YVR-CAN service goes from 7 to 10 weekly, which is a nice bump. 7 weekly on 77W, and 3 weekly on 787.

Found this on airliners.net. Looks like a possibility as it mimics Rouge and has lots of grey, much like AC's new cabin and terminal colours. source : http://www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php? http://i1302.photobucket.com/albums/...psedsorggq.jpg |
There are a bunch of "potential" liveries floating around on A.Net right now. I doubt any of them is the actual livery though.
|
Some people like to create fantasy liveries for fun. I wouldn't be surprised if those are one of them.
|
Is it new that Air Canada will have two flights a day from YYZ to MEX once it switches to Rouge on the route?

Toronto's Pearson International Airport unveils design for new transit hub
Mega-project would provide more connections with rail and bus lines https://i.cbc.ca/1.3969569.148641864...hub-design.jpg The GTA could be getting a second Union Station, but this one would be at Pearson airport. The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) released new images of the multi-modal transit centre it wants to build across from Pearson's two main terminals by 2027. More here from the cbc: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toront...ment-1.3968790 |
Cool Idea Bro!
Looks expensive, and I don't see the UPX Line which is already built anywhere |
Looks neat, I look forward to enjoying it in 2092.

Better transit into Pearson would be useful, but I do wonder how they will fit a decent sized station to that area indicated. And with Toronto's woeful track record for actually building transit, I will probably be retired long before it's constructed.

Oh good, because the current spaghetti pile of ramps could not be any more needlessly-complex. When the airport express bus has to pick up a lonely freezing person under a highway overpass at Jetliner Rd, does a loop up to the overpass, then stops for another poor soul at "Jetliner Rd, upper level", it's a sign of bad planning.
Also I love the current Air Canada livery and won't change it for anything. Argh, why must all good things come to an end!??! |

So yes it is a form of bullying being literally forced to travel somewhere one doesn't want to go. Actually things will change. The more people refuse to use crap service the more you hurt the airlines where it counts in the pocket book. They want my money, then provide a service that gets me and many others where we want to go. |
