[Dartmouth] Queen & Victoria | 41 m | 16 fl | Proposed

This is one of 22 site-specific proposals to go before Regional Council this week to seek approval to proceed through public consultation amid the new Centre Plan. This was one of 14 given the go-ahead.

The proposal is for a 41m / 16 fl / 107 unit residential building at the eastern corner of Queen Street and Victoria Road in Downtown Dartmouth. The main entrance would be along Queen Street and townhouses would be accessed along both streets.

Clark Wilkins sold the site for $1.45 million on June 5 2017.
Mr Wilkins developed an older residential property on Lucknow Street which collapsed when unqualified workers were renovating and expanding the property.
He was fined $65,000 for lying on a building permit application. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-s...arge-1.3679508

A good spot for that development.

I drove through there lately and was a little surprised at how much that area has changed over the years. Have seen it happen incrementally but for some reason I looked at it with a fresh perspective the last time.

This area has the feeling of being on the cusp of a major improvement. It'll be good to see.
