FYI, IMO opinions 13 story buildings barely qualify as "highrises". More like the maximum size for mid rise buildings. HOWEVER, I am ALWAYS excited to see Oakland fill in with midirse density. Let's face it, it will only make Pittsburgh seem more cosmopolitan and "European" in a way where they don't go for mega scrapers but just straight up high quality infill and midrises.
I love it. Believe it or not, I am QUITE excited about Skyvue. What a hulking tower block of young, smart people doing amazing things in Pittsburgh. I wouldn't mind living there one bit. However, rents are probably huge there... |
Good, the development needs to keep on moving further south down Forbes. I wouldn't exactly call this a high rise though, more like a mid rise. Isnt this the first tallish built along Forbes since about the 70s or so in Oakland? Its been a long time.
