Protestors against shadows?
They shouldn't be allowed to live in NYC whatsoever! :hell: |
I liked the 1 protester who wants "more sun" but is wearing  ha ha
|
Some of those protesters tend to remind me of those crazed, albino mutants who were constantly trying to kill Charlton Heston in the 1971 movie The Omega Man. As far as the megatall skyscrapers are concerned it's not a matter of being "yes in my backyard" but "PLEASE in my backyard".
|
I guarantee none of those people in that moronic protest have really ever worked a day in their lives and have their parents to thank them for the good cushy gluten free yoko Ono art gallery attending upper crust Manhaatan lives.

Had to think for a second, but no. I didn't see anyone taking photos. Anyway, looks like you got a better angle. We need more people taking pics, thanks. |
hey PhotoLith -
Yoko will probably like this building . . as it'll give her a more impressive skyline to look at . . from her Dakota apartment . . though she'll have to stick her head out the window to see it from W72nd & CPW . . and her Openings are very fun hip events. |
Worksite has looked desolate for days in everyone's pics, wasn't this under a stop work order a few weeks ago? That still in effect?

Im at a loss for words. how does shit like this get published? the author of this must never have been to New York before |
this is terrible. there will be a humongous wall surrounding central park if they allow all these super talls to be built around it and blocking the view for people who live behind these buildings. :sly:

There's no spire. Barnett was true to his word.

They are so filthy rich, they should consider themselves lucky while the rest of us live in normal condos in the suburbs because we can't afford your luxury! :hell: Us normal people desire mega-tall skyscrapers taller than the Empire State Building, the World Trade Center and any other tower that happens to be tall. The Taller, the Better!! :P |
