The irony is YOW-LHR is also within MAX range and could be deployed and easily rotated on Rapidair until traffic rebounds to 788/333 sized traffic levels. Yeah like you said, geography will always be YOW's achilles heel.

I'm not sure what's more difficult to believe that YOW-LHR is gone or that AC think that there's going to somehow be enough traffic to fill 2 daily A330s on YUL-LHR this coming fall...seems pretty delusional.

Sounds like Canada-bound shipments from the US. Not sure if this replaces Castle Aviation or adds to it, but the Dash 8 is a fair bit larger than what Castle flies for them. YYC-FCO has finally gotten the full season axe. So far YYC-CDG/DUB have survived but removed until August. Looks like they're starting to acknowledge Summer is a lost cause (at least internationally). YVR/YHZ-LGW are still showing from July 5.

In June, they've removed all International/Transborder destinations except for:

Still unclear if the cuts this year are just temporary or long term as they haven't loaded anything beyond April 30/22 yet.

Central Mountain Air is increasing flights from Vancouver to Castlegar from 4 weekly to daily starting July 1st and so far ending November 6th.
