I'm overwhelmed! Thanks for the tour and taking time to add so many photos in one post! What an interesting mixture of architectural styles. :)

It's so very . . . wine country.
Seriously, I can't even imagine how much work it was to upload all those. Thanks for doing it. |
Talk about leaving no stone unturned! It must have taken hours to put this together. Thanks for the effort.
I've wanted to visit the Luther Burbank Gardens since I saw Huell Howser do a show on it some time ago. Has it been updated? I seem to remember it looking more rustic. |
What a great tour! I still have never made it to Santa Rosa, but, I knew a bunch of people who moved there for junior college. Downtown looks great and it's nice other neighborhoods as well.

Wow. I'm surprised I was able to view this thread. Usually photo threads this large freeze up my computer... but I think the picture size made it possible to not overload my computer and freeze it up.
Santa Rosa definitely looks like a nice area. I'd love to head there from some wine tasting. Thanks for the great photo tour! :) |
Nice views of what looks like a nice place. Thanks! :)

Santa Rosa looks so Colonial!

It never ceases to amaze me how ugly California is. :jester:
Seriously, Santa Rosa is a beautiful place and it looks like you had a beautiful day to take those pics. I love the Charles Shulz statue and museum there. |
Thanks for the tour! I've never seen Santa Rosa before. It looks like a very pleasant little city.
|
Falcon Crest! ;)

I'd also like to point out - Santa Rosa is also a relatively important regional transit hub, with four systems (Golden Gate Transit, Santa Rosa CityBus, Sonoma County Transit, VINE) meeting at their transit center, as well as various Airporters and shuttles.
|
^ thats right, sf_eddo. theres also santa rosa airport with commercial service to seattle, portland, la and las vegas (some of those flights wont start til april)
|
Cool shots. Thanks for sharing. I want to visit the burbank home; how easy is it to take public transit from the city to there? or should i just rent a car?
|
one of the things i love about norcal is the random conifers scattered about the landscape which you just don't see here in LA
|
Enjoyed your post....good work!
