SHoP has taken all of the good elements of art deco of the 20s and 30s and modernized it without making it tacky and gimmicky. SHoP gets it.

It seems this tower is in a death-race with the CP Tower now. But I think this one should rise faster. We'll see.

This is like skyscraper porn.

My favorite tower currently rising.

The excitement factor is high with this one. Can't wait for the other masterpiece called 9 Dekalb to pick up speed.

A couple of Gems that will rise in major skyscraper nodes:

1) 111 W 57th
2) 9 DeKalb
3) 45 Broad

All three in Lower, Midtown, and DoBro respectively. All skyline defining towers for their neighbourhood node.

For JC:

1) 99 Hudson

... and for LIC, a new tallest is in the works.
