I know everyone hates the Barbican, but surely this is just a vision?

University of Cambridge prof came up with the design so I don't think it's an actual proposal although it should be. I actually like the Barbican and other brutalist gems like the Trellick tower and think they really need to be preserved and restored rather than demolished or hidden behind trendy new facades.

Call me a pansy, but I would never live in a wooden structure taller than 150 feet, let alone 300 meters
