LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA | Skyscraper Boom
Ljubljana is the capital city of Slovenia, with an approximate population of 260.000 people. It is also Slovenia’s largest and most developed city.
Here is a short summary of all the skyscraper projects that are currently developing in Ljubljana. Emonika City Center The ECC includes a 100 m tall office skyscraper, which will be the tallest in Slovenia, as well as a 65 m tall residential skyscraper. Wow, me and my girlfriend were just in Ljubljana about three weeks ago and really enjoyed it, but I had no idea so much highrise construction was planned. We walked on the way from the train station past the lot where Northern City Gates is going, but I don't remember seeing a rendering. Looks like an impressive amount of proposals for a city its' size. Thanks for posting these.

I think it's about 400,000 or so. That would be a liberal estimate I think.
I'm supposed to be drawing some of these for a friend, but.. you know. :P There are a few pretty interesting buildings going up though. |
I love Ljubljana and I'm very excited to see all this development.
I wish they would export Union or Lasko, though...I love that beer. |
