Does anyone want to help me with this?

It turns out I have no idea how to make old fashioned city walls!
Does anyone have suggestions?

I know it might sound silly, but I can't seam to do them!

I was not able to make gateways or whatever those cut outs are called that medieval defense walls have!

Has anyone else ever done anything like this?

give us an example... and show the shape of the wall you have. Depending on the complexity of the basic wall shape, different methods will be needed.

you will most likely need to use plugins anyway... Tools on Surface, Joint Push-Pull...

Actually, I just found a neat looking texture, so I'm just going to use it!

When i made my model of Bancroft Tower in Worcester, it was a real pain making all the crenelations at the top. I ended up fudging a bit with the central tower.

IF the walls are straight, one can just copy a rectangle with a different color over the wall border, select all with the same color and use joint push pull to pull all of them together...
