I love the setbacks. Hopefully they use that dark glass color.

I had no idea that a 900' tower was rising in LIC!

This is the Age of Ramses, lads!

Zapatan Aug 17, 2015 9:24 PM

Hell yea! Like this thing

JR Ewing Aug 17, 2015 9:29 PM

Cheers to that, amigo!

Vertical_Gotham Aug 17, 2015 9:44 PM

I like it too!! It looks like a nice sizable tower with great height for LIC and I dig the little setbacks it has. A tower most cities would enjoy.

Manhattan’s supertall towers cater to condo buyers on the way to reaching their dizzying heights, but the tallest building set to rise in the outer boroughs will be primarily for renters.

Queens Plaza Park, the 914-foot-tall residential building Property Markets Group and the Hakim Organization are developing in Long Island City, will set aside the bulk of its 800 apartments as rental units.

I never thought I'd say this, but that's a beautiful tower set to rise in LIC. If only they could use high quality glass, I'd be in complete awe.

LiC's future is tall

^^^ Wow what a massive skyline change! LIC is on fire!

Nucking Futs indeed.....
:crazy2::crazy2:

It's a greater change taking place than dt Brooklyn.

Busy Bee Mar 16, 2016 2:51 PM

I do wish they upped the ante on the design of some of these LIC towers. We need some really bold Scandinavian styles mixed in with all the value glass slabs.

^^
Are all these buildings definitely going to get built, or are a lot of them just proposals at this point?

Most of them are under construction already, with more to come.

toddguy Mar 16, 2016 7:49 PM

Manhattan is going to have all kinds of tall satellite skyscraper clusters all around it in nearly every direction. Damn.

Love NYC but can't help but be jealous as we can't get a single new building over 12 floors.

Life sucks

Zapatan Mar 16, 2016 8:26 PM

2 900 footers plus all that? Insanity!

jbermingham123 Mar 17, 2016 3:59 AM

And now for a 1300 footer with a magnificent spire to top it all off
