The Moore Office building at 20th and Chet Atkins Street is finally underway with site prep going on and all necessary permits acquired.

This is two blocks off Music Row across the street from Taylor Swift's primary condo home. This is one of my favorite projects. It has the names of two of Nashville's greatest guitarists attached to it which is appropriate for this Music Row neighborhood. Atkins and Moore influenced George Harrison of the Beatles and you can hear the tribute guitar riffs on the song "All My Loving".

Not sure how I feel about this one... I always loved that little cluster of early century buildings and the way it was situated in that lot and addressed the street was perfect.

I agree. At the very least they should try to build something that addresses the shape of the lot much better than what they showing. It just makes no sense to build on a lot with that shape and put something there that doesn't take advantage of the shape. Maybe with any luck, the street level will remain. But, I doubt it.

I can’t post the images from my phone, but Pinnacle Financial Partners is relocating within downtown Nashville to a 34 story office building within Nashville Yards.

Sorry if I missed it, but what about the retail-entertainment component ?

Still seemingly on hold. I’d imagine it’s being re-designed to remove the theatre component.

I'm hoping the same. That would be so cool to see the angled edges lit.

if MGM is looking to revise their concept, I think it might be more of a scale back design on the hotel. They wouldn't be competing against anybody with the entertainment component of their project. I think MGM may have miscalculated the continued growth of hotel development in downtown during the pandemic.

Reminds me of these dominant towers in our "little" city here in Saskatchewan.

On a side note, if Amtrak expands to Nashville, would they likely use Union Station ?
