the raptis plaza to left of the photo is being demolished and soul tower will be on that site aswell. that end of the esplande is being revamped with a roundabout put in. so they close cavil off for big events like the markets schoolies and indy carnival. you can sought of see it in the plans on the soul website www.soul.com.au

Not Tall Enough!!
 

As much as I believe the design of the tower will have a positive impact on the skyline of the Gold Coast, I was disappointed to hear of its size. The design would have benefitted from being taller. I would have designed it to be in the 400 metre region. Does anyone know if the Gold Coast is going to be witnessing any up and coming ''supertowers?'' The Gold Coast has so much potential!

You must be kidding. The 2nd tallest on the Gold Coast you fool!
