The site plan was posted today to the city's website and we got our first look at the building elevations showing the height.

Previously, we had seen a stacking plan with some heights listed, but that didn't include the mechanical penthouse, and they also added some floors. It's an apartment tower with restaurant space.

These were the previous renderings we'd seen. The design doesn't seem to be too different from this, just slightly taller.

Man, that's gonna be at least three 500 footers under construction at once in Austin.

Austin has been under the biggest high rise construction boom in Texas history I'd have to imagine... this is getting to absurd levels!

I think 44 East and Travis Tower #1 are good to go as well. Both have deep pocketed national/international developers, and permitting is pretty far along for both of them. That should result in at least five 500'-600' towers U/C later this year. We can also hope the two new tallests 6xG - 848' and The Republic - 708' get underway this year. But I'm less confident about those two.

Construction has started with caissons being placed. That's three 500 footers under construction in Austin now and site prep on two more, plus an 800 footer.
