Well I laughed at some of those more than I should have.

Some striking images. That Empire State one seems out of place though, even though Paris is known for the Eiffel Tower standing head above everything else in a big way.

I like the third from the last … demonstrate how Paris could've integrated vertical development into the fabric of the city.

A fun exercise...
Some of the early ornate buildings of modest height seem to fit in fairly well as long as there are not too many of them. However, I did not know that the Wrigley Building was a New York skyscraper! (see picture just above the Flatiron building image) |
These skyscrapers were massive. They should be integrated in the center of city planning like Eiffel Tower to fit in Paris.

Probably a fill in for the Municipal Building, which wasn't necessary (there are lots of photos of it). http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/cas/fna...nyc_munic4.jpg http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/cas/fna...7/20_sky1.html http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/cas/fna...h/nycmuni2.jpg 2nd photo above http://68.media.tumblr.com/28e0bd240...igpo1_1280.jpg |
