BELLEVUE | International Plaza | 5 Towers | up to 600FT | 40-48 FLOORS
It will eventually consist of five towers (4 residential, 1 mixed-use) built over 3 phases with at least one of the towers reaching the new 600 foot height limit. Here is the description from the architect's website and some renderings. Credit to Lostwave for tracking these down. Adamson Associates, Inc. is the Executive Architect for this new luxury development designed by MZA. Situated in the heart of Bellevue, Washington, this ambitious master plan will accommodate five towers — four residential high-rises and one office building. The first phase includes a condo tower containing 361 units and an apartment tower with 342 units. With its proximity to the Bellevue Transit Center and future light rail station, its breathtaking views of Mount Rainier, outstanding amenities, retail and green space, the Bellevue development is positioned to be the city’s most desirable living space. PS. Floor counts are by my eye only, the rest of the info is from a couple sources at SSC-Seattle and architects website.
For a freaking suburb? Absolutely fantastic. Especially considering it is right next to a future subway stop, it's probably not intended to be a TOD, but it will be one organically I think. |
Hope it gets built out. Seattle's going to have to up its game if a suburb is going to show up like this.

Bellevue is a hidden jewel of the Northwest. Often people outside of the metro think of Seattle, but neglect its geographically stunning, and fantastic little brother Bellevue. Really I think because they haven't heard of it. For a proxy city / smaller satellite, this will really overhaul the area and add some nice density.
In a way, Bellevue is to Seattle as White Plains is to NYC. Two very underrated cities near popular destinations. |
Housekeeping:
There's another earlier thread for this project (http://www.skyscraperpage.com/forum/...d.php?t=216231). The two threads should be merged. |

Very nice. Now get busy building!
|
Wow. What a cool project.

This is so sweet. Its like something you'd see in Asia.

Update on the proposal that used to be called "Elev8". Three towers instead of four.
It is now called Cloudvue 10855 NE 8th St https://permitsearch.mybuildingpermi...%20LP/Bellevue "We are proposing a three-tower development over a continuous below grade garage with depressed mid-block that will provide garage and loading dock access. The develop is intended to be mixed use. Two towers will be office only and one tower is residential with a potential hotel at the base. The podium of all three towers will contain retail elements. Tower 1 (west) and Tower 2 (south) will both extend to 600 feet. The eastern tower will extend to the tallest height that our remaining FAR will allow which is approximately 500 feet. In total, the project is planned for approximately 1.5M sf of office, 440 residential units and 285 hotel rooms. " [Emphasis added] |
Bellevue, which most people never even heard of, has a better and bigger downtown than most American cities.:cheers::cheers:
