It's from this angle I think both CPT and Steinway will be best dramatically viewed on the skyline in conjunction with others...of course there are various angles that will be great.

^ That's another view where you get an idea of the "L" shaped nature of the broader tower.

Well those images should hush up the people who say there's no work being done. Look at that cantilever!!

Yeah, this puppy could start taking off pretty soon...

Makes me very happy to see that many workers on site. Every time I come to this thread I keep my fingers crossed for moments like this. :)

Yeah, the little ants (as they appear from above) are busy. Before you know it, there'll be an enormous ant-hill, appearing out of thin air. These are the guys that build New York.

I stand corrected. I didn't quite realize just how much composite metal rods were going to be used. It looks like that reinforced concrete will have the strength of a rock formation. So to speak. j

So nice hopping the spire will come back at the last to give for a tower more domination in Midtown of Manhattan

Well, this was coming up faster than expected. Looks good in that picture with all the cruise ships.

At one point I thought this building was too skinny, but it's really grown on me. Nice to see things turn out better than expected.

That is not CPT in that picture. It is 220 Central Park South.

Nice English.
Oasis ships only sail out of Port Everglades Florida (Fort Lauderdale) while in North American waters. These routes all go south to the Caribbean.

I stand corrected. Sorry. At least 220 Central Park South is the better looking building.

jl4069 Nov 7, 2016 6:24 AM

I would assume on such a tall building with such loads they would use this

dumbo Nov 7, 2016 5:52 PM

great shot. going down the west side highway, it's hard to grasp how many big ships are docked.

And Port of Miami, as well.
