Great!

Amazing! Some of the best Detroit shots I've seen.
|
And, save for the first few, this is just in parts of the financial district, downtown. Thundertubs, did you happen to get any shots of Greektown, Campus Martius, Capitol and Harmonie Parks, etc...anything else outside of the financial district?

Great pictures. I knew that Detroit had a lot of old historic skyscrapers, but I never really realized that there was such an urban setting, with the lowrises and small commercial buildings and the way that everything is packed in.
Are those farm pictures at the beginning from Windsor? |
Lafayette, RIP.

Welcome to America.

I have this urge to perch atop this baroque masterpiece, dressed in black with a batwing hang glider, and swoop down on unsuspecting goths wandering out of the City Club at two in the morning. |
Nice job, thanks!

awesome!

A lot of nice shots.
I like that you paid attention to some of the lesser known downtown buildings such as the old Detroit Free Press building and the Penobscot Annex. Hardly anyone takes pictures of the Penobscot Annex! |

That's really great stuff. The sense of isolation might bother some, but I thought it was fitting and atmospheric. I've seen all these buildings lots of times, but this was very compelling.
I love that Penobscot Building! It struts with brawn and pride. |
