I like how the parking is out back.
|
Wow. 0 setback. Mixed-use. Parking behind the building. I am pleasantly shocked.
Whoever is putting this up gets it. Let him put up as may of these as he wants on Upper James and streets like it. |
So good! I would assume the residential would be rentals not owned but is there any way to know at this point?
|
Really happy about this one. The house that currently sits on the property hasn't been occupied in almost 5 years. The previous owners didn't do anything with it. Happy to see it redeveloped as it had a weird haunted mansion vibe going on.

Didn't get a picture but saw the foundation looking nearly complete when I went past today!

Thread title needs to be updated. This isn't a 6 storey project anymore, it's a 2 storey commercial development.

Apologies for the state of these pictures, they were taken out of a filthy bus window on Jan 8th. But an update nonetheless...

I'm just wondering if the site map says 2 floors, and our forum title for this project says 6, am I missing something? Thx
|
...oh never mind, I just answered my own question.
|
Too bad this got severely downgraded from the original plans. A 6 story would have looked a lot better.

Unimpressive pictures taken from the bus last Wednesday:

Well ... no question that natural gas is being used extensively. Hard to believe that was the only solution.
|
It's interesting looking - and doesn't look too out of place with the building next door to it - I kinda like it :)
The wood trim really completes it. |
No electrical for Box signs, that's encouraging , I like the stone work, Cut Channel letters or even peds in the landscaping would be great alternative
