The model also shows a wider base up to the first setback than the engineering schematic (which is awesome) and the actual construction photos show.

Don't know what the fuss is about. None of these towers going up - office or residential - have actual floor counts that match stated or advertised floor counts. To be particularly accurate on the number of floors in a building, check the DOB filings.
Anyway, traditionally, this could have been called a 150-story building due to its height. That's still the perception in the media (500 ft = 50 stories, etc.). |
