Interesting. I think we're seeing a trend where the airlines are concentrating on their hubs (AC and WS both have indicated this is their strategy), so they're growing at a massive clip, while secondary cities are growing more slowly (or in the case of Victoria, struggling with the loss of flights).

How is Victoria a busier airport than Winnipeg or Halifax? :shrug:

It isn't. YWG and YHZ simply haven't posted 2019 stats yet. I put in YYZ and YVR as fillers, but didn't bother with the rest.

Flair is saying that their plane with the new livery is going to be showing up in YYC sometime today.

Norwegian will be operating DUB-YHM with the B738NG. Tells me the loads looked decent enough to not can the route completely.

It's a bit tight on the westbound leg with the NG instead of the MAX. Frequency has also been reduced to 4x weekly for almost all of their summer schedule.

As of April 3, YUL will once again sterilize the international jetty.

Complete disaster. Now there is no lounge to use if you are flying domestically, are on WestJet, have an AMEX platinum or priority pass lounge access. Basically it is Montreal, Ottawa and Saskatoon that are the three airports that lack suitable lounge facilities flying domestically. Both Winnipeg and Quebec City have adequate options.

I wouldn't call it a "complete" disaster. The number of people that fit your description are a minority in YUL. Air Canada dominates domestic flying here, and their frequent flyers always have the domestic MLL.

Ethiopian A350 to YYZ

MLL doesn't offer alcohol on mornings, which is enough of a reason that my friends and I always went to the Desjardins lounge. Now there's no alternative to MLL.

Ottawa airport is tiny. It might be a reason there are few services out of YOW. You can walk from one side to the other in 5 minutes. The security takes 10 minutes to go through.

YUL domestic wing is pretty small as well. That's a major reason why there is no second lounge there.

Perhaps YOW and YUL domestic are small. Nothing like the major hubs or Winnipeg and Edmonton. Edmonton even has a lounge for trans-boarder.

As a point of comparison YVR has two Premium Plaza lounges in the domestic airport. One full service one in the WestJet area and a second smaller satellite lounge on the concourse AC uses. While for international departures there are two priority pass lounges, a premium Plaza and a Sky Team lounge.

Saskatoon after waiting many years now has a Maple Leaf lounge. But like YOW and YUL it still is lacking a suitable lounge for priority pass members.

Both YYZ-KEF and YUL-KEF are removed from schedule till end of June in tonight's update...

EDIT: Seems like they are converted to Rouge A319... Op days stays the same. YYZ-YKA/YCD removed until end of June.

Does this mean Trudeau airport will now offer international connections without entering Canada? (ie. someone could book CDG-YUL-MEX and not have to clear customs in Canada at YUL).
