Welcome to PTRCKDSIGN, my make-believe architectural firm based in the Philippines. Here I will post my new projects and models.

That looks great. I love that you incorporated the solar panels into the design. The simple shape is awesome too. It doesn't go too overboard and it's also not boring. I could see it being built. Those skysgardens look great too. Usually platforms that stick out of buildings look bad but it looks great in this one because it adds texture and it matches the helipad.
Great work! |
thanks aleks!!! will post more updates...
|
I love you put solar panels on the building. The design looks awsome and the textures you picked look really good too!I also like that you put the skyspa with the skygarden! This is one of the most creative pieces yet!A fantastic job there!
Two thumbs up! |
thanks flamesrule for the compliments... I figured skyspas and skybars could help set my skyscraper apart from the other skyscrapers... and the solar panels I added to help make the building more energy efficient... too bad though coz I wanted to enter this in the Green Comp... guess just have to wait for the next competition... lol...:)
|
im really excited for your next, im sure its also great! keep it up!
|
haha... thanks skyscraper100! Yep, expect another supertall soon. I'm calling it The Trident. Its still in planning stage but I'll try to start with it soon...
|
cool.
oh btw join the next competition, maybe its a convention center comp (were still not sure) :) well wait for aleks to open the thread |
convention centers??? cool... i really want to join the comp... i love doin comps... haha... oh ya... i have a question... how can u make a texture slightly transparent in kerky?
|
Great design, both the tower and the brochure. BUT...you have to fix that pixelation. It just takes so much away from the presentation! I don't want to sound like I'm trashing your work, but visible pixels is a pet peeve of mine. ;)
|
haha... its ok... yep, the pixelation is not cool... I'll try to post better renders... lol... thanks for the comment!
|
I'm not sure that that little array of solar panels could generate 47% of the energy for a building like that...:haha:
However I love the design, it's so elegant. Also I love what you did with those balconies. Usually balconies seem out of place and visually disruptive, but you made them look perfectly integrated into the design. Amazing work! I can't wait to see more! |
Haha... yeah, ur right... those solar panels aren't enough... what I probably meant was 47% energy generated thru usage of solar panles, the water collected from rainstorms ( which explains the buildings slanting shape ) and the small wind turbines near the top, which I have yet to pace, but rest assured they won't be so obvious as to ruin the tower's design... Thanks for the compliments... I figured, coz my tower kinda looked like the shanghai tower, I have to add something that will set it apart from it so I added the ledges... thank you again for the compliments...

Cool tower and ways of displaying it! Good renderings but also very nice infogram.
I really like the huge balconies and skygardens. Couldn't care less about solar panels. According to Lovejoy the founder of the GAIA thing, Green Energy is Nuclear Energy According to Ray Kurzweil, genius, Solar Panels will be economically feasible when and if nanotechnology makes them tiny enough Love to see this project. I've been meaning to ask this to Sky100: what do you speak in the Phillipines? Tagalog? English? Spanish? |
well, mainly we speak filipino, the official term for the tagalog language, but because we have been under the american influence and the spanish influence for such a long time, our language also consists of english terms and spanish. so to answer your question, we speak all of them... we have a hybrid language... lol
Thanks for the compliments! |
I think I know cuál va a ser mi primer stop in Asia. Maraming Salamat sa yo!

Wow, some of those designs are impressive! I really like the church. The tower could be a little thinner but the main building looks great!
The Manila Spire looks great! Looks like the Space Needle and the Auckland Tower had a giant baby! 1311 meters is too tall though. It should be about 1,600 ft. And if you add some details it will look fantastic! Great job, can't wait to see more. |
thanks Aleks... the church was my earliest design... I think the bell tower is a tad too fat but I didn't change it coz it will ruin the roof design. I'm redesigning the Manila Spire coz many commented its a bit unstable. And yeah, maybe 1 km maybe a tad too tall... haha... I got my scaling wrong when I modelled it... lol...
Thanks for the comment... btw, I might send u my entry anytime soon... just finalizing some details... |
