looks rather eco-friendly

HighZed Oct 19, 2008 12:24 AM

...yes, and it is in downtown.
This project is for Milan expo 2015.

Libeskind's building is ugly.
The other two are OK.

Bergenser Oct 19, 2008 10:25 PM

^ I agree. Il Curvo is just to extreme for my taste.

HighZed Oct 20, 2008 1:15 PM

In the first project "il curvo" was totally a portion of a sphere, wich center was center of the square. Later projects added that element to enforce structure.
Actually this is how it shows :

Last post here almost a year ago. Does not look like this is a go.

Curvo From Liebeskind Is Cancelled Please

GaborFrankl Nov 3, 2009 2:26 PM

High Zed - It's absolutely fantastic!
This is the best thing by a mile that could happen to Milan's prestige - and Italy's. If and when this project gets finished Milan enters - by the merit of this project alone - to the company of alpha cities on earth imo. Liebeskind's building is actually fabulous, a fascinating piece of modern arch. I suspect the naysayers are a little bit envy?

I love Miland and find it "greatest" lol! :haha:

Magnifique projet, j'ai vraiment envi de voir ca de mes propre yeux.

Sorry, but can't you see that this thread - as all others here - are in English? Some or most of us don't speak French.

I am wondering if they will do all this, or just an easy way to still money from investors and government.
