Enjoyable photo thread!

Sacramento is lucky to have you. Excellent, excellent work!
|
Great stuff as usual.
Sacramento must've been filled with cranes in 1926.. |
I have a fondness for capital cities (I represent one!) so thanks for this great tour!
|
No wonder California is our most populous state! Some many great cities, Sacremento sure looking good!
|
Bravo. There seems to be a lot of new buildings.
|
You know, I was just thinking yesterday that I hadn't seen a thread from you in awhile. Nice re-entry!
Alot to like in here. What's the cross street on the L-Street Lofts? |
Sacramento's rich urban fabric is undeniable. Unfortunately it's the only major California city I haven't been to. Too bad not many people outside Sac see it as a neat, urban city, I assume just because it's overshadowed due to the fact it's in California. Anyway, as a political junkie, I think I'd be in heaven there. Sac is surely on my list of places to visit. Thank you very much.

awesome work! I hope I get to check out Sacramento a little bit more on my way back up to Portland in a few weeks. Looks like a cool city.
|
the return of innov8, I was wondering when, nice work.
|
I have such nostalgia from my days living in Sacramento and working downtown. I echo the comments made about what a great (and under appreciated) city it is. Thanks for a wonderful thread!
|
Nice series. Your photos have really matured. Great symmetry in a lot of your photos. The Capitol is looking good.
|
Nice and clean looking and a nice blend of old and new!
|
Wow, that was a truly amazing set. That picture of the Wells Fargo Lobby brings back memories of the 400 Capitol Mall building. I spent a lot of time in that building a long time ago. Outstanding job!

Great Set, innov8!
The Gunthers Ice Cream shot is my favorite! When are you going take some shots of the new airport? There is a thread under Transportation for the Sacramento Airport Expansion, we could sure use some quality shots from you. |
Wow!
Nice job, Sacramento is no doubt a beautiful city, I was impressed the few times I visited. I like this city, but don't ask me that when it comes to the LA Lakers, and the Sacramento Queens, oops I meant Kings. (lol) |
Geographically/outdoors speaking, Sacramento is one (or may be the most) of the most under rated metros in the country. 2 hours to the sea, 2 hours to the sierras, some great stuff in between, great climate, sunshine, not too dry and definitely not isolated..though I'm sure very hot by coastal California standards. Unfortunately I didn't spend any quality time around town last time I came through, I was beat feeting for my hotel in SF after not showering in the Sierras and Nevada for several days (had to wear a down coat in the nevada mountains high above the desert, freaking awesome!). Thanks for sharing!

So glad to see you back in action Innov8. Great lookin' work!
